Twin has a surface area of 391 acres and a maximum
depth of 16 feet. A public access is located on the
channel (Shell River) connecting Upper and Lower
Twin Lakes. The Shell River flows through Upper and
Lower Twin Lakes and eventually into the Crow Wing
River. Lower Twin is a popular fishing lake and
receives moderate to heavy fishing pressure year
around for this area. Lower Twin provides angling
opportunities for northern pike, walleye, panfish, and
bass.
Stocking Lake has a surface area of 343 acres
and a maximum depth of 22 feet. Starting in
1975, the Stocking Lake Association has
operated two bubbler type aeration systems to
help prevent oxygen depletion and winterkill.
Two open water areas are maintained during
the winter, however low dissolved oxygen levels
can still occur. There is a state-owned public
access located on the east shore of the lake.

Blueberry is a shallow lake with a surface area of 522 acres and a
maximum depth of 15.0 feet. The Blueberry and Shell Rivers enter the
lake on the southwest shore. The outlet of Blueberry Lake is the Shell
River. The water quality in Blueberry can be poor at times, and heavy
algae blooms are common during summer months. A high carp
population in the lake also stirs up bottom sediments. A state-owned
public access is located on the northeast shore at the outlet channel
(Shell River). Blueberry Lake provides angling opportunities for
walleye, northern pike, panfish, and carp.
