Opening Fishing - second weekend in May

Festival of Sales

Join us for city-wide garage sales in Menahga in early May. Residents clean out their sheds, garages, and closets, setting up sales all across the community. It’s the perfect chance to declutter, make a little extra cash, and enjoy a fun, social atmosphere with neighbors and visitors alike.

For shoppers, it’s a one-stop destination for dozens of garage, yard, and rummage sales all in one place. You never know what you’ll find; maybe antiques, tools, home décor, or that one-of-a-kind treasure you didn’t even know you were looking for. Come spend the day exploring Menahga and see what hidden gems are waiting for you.

Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of community events in Menahga. If you’d like to help, you can volunteer through the Menahga Civic & Commerce Association by reaching out through our website, contacting a board member, or signing up when volunteer opportunities are announced. Whether it’s helping set up for an event, assisting during activities, or pitching in behind the scenes, every bit of help makes a difference.

So, why volunteer?

When neighbors work together, great things happen. Volunteering helps bring community traditions to life, supports local businesses, and creates events that families and visitors can enjoy together. It’s one of the many ways people help keep Menahga a welcoming place to live, work, and play.

Event Coordinator

The Festival of Sales event is chaired by Andrea Haverinen. Send a message through our contact page to find out more about volunteering for this event. We appreciate your support!
